It’s Tina’s Birthday
I’ve known Tina since she was about 16. When I first met her she was in love with a lunkhead of a teenage boy. He was cute but he was really a lunkhead. He’d see some cute young thing and break up with Tina to date the other girl for a few times and then he’d end that “relationship” and Tina would be patiently waiting for him. Terry and I thought she was nuts. As Terry said at the time, there’s no accounting for taste. It’s been our privilege to watch Tina grow and mature into a vibrant, beautiful, wife, mom and business woman.
Tina is my sister-in-law. My brother Danny was her lunkhead. Well, since he’s dead, technically I suppose she is my former sister-in-law. It’s a technicality we have overlooked for going on 25 years. Happily he got over being a lunkhead. Tina was 19 when she married my brother. She was only 25 when she became a widow with two small children.
I have posted before about praying Tina into a second husband and I’ve shared about Tina herself just this past September 4 so I won’t tell those tales again.
Today’s post is just to say
Happy 50th Birthday, Tina!
